1. User Deletion Request


How to Request
: Users can delete their account and associated personal information through the self-service feature available within the Cherry Health app.

To initiate the deletion, users must follow these steps:
1. Sign in, navigate to the Settings page
2. select “Delete Account”
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

2. Scope of Deletion

  • Account Profile & Personal Data: Includes name, email, address, registration details, and other personal data submitted during registration or via forms.
  • User-Generated Connections: Includes any connection with other users and organizations on the platform
  • User-Generated Subscriptions & Plans: Provided the deleted account is the administrator of an organization with an active subscription, the subscription gets automatically cancelled.

3. Deletion Process and Timeline

  1. Execution of Deletion
    • Personal data and user content will be actively removed from live systems and internal databases.
    • Cherry Health will comply with relevant retention obligations, such as legal, regulatory, or health-related requirements.
  2. Backup and Caching
    • Deleted content may persist temporarily in backups, caches, or archived pages.
    • These will be purged or anonymized according to standard data lifecycle practices.

4. Exceptions & Retention Obligations

  • Legal or Regulatory Compliance:
    Cherry Health may retain necessary personal data to comply with legal obligations (e.g., health record retention, financial reporting).

  • Aggregate or Anonymous Data:
    Data fully anonymized or aggregated may be retained indefinitely, so long as it cannot be used to identify individuals.

  • Content Shared by Others:
    If a user’s content has been shared or republished by others, those external copies may remain outside Cherry Health Inc.’s control.

5. Effects of Deletion

  • Service Access:
    Deleted accounts and associated data will render the user unable to log in or access the service.

  • Third-Party Disclosures:
    Any prior disclosures to third-party processors or partners under contractual obligations are not necessarily reversible, though processing of future data sharing will cease.

6. Appeal & Support

  • If a user believes some of their data was not deleted, they can contact Cherry Health Inc. at contact@cherry.health to request further review.

  • Users may also exercise other rights (e.g., correction, portability) as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Policy Changes

  • Cherry Health Inc. may update this User Deletion Policy. Significant changes will be communicated via email or website notices, in addition to updating the effective date in the policy header.
