The Alberta Primary Care Clinic Owners Association (APCCOA) was founded to address a growing crisis: the collapse of community-based family medicine clinics. Over 1,000,000 Albertans now lack a family doctor, and clinics are closing due to unsustainable costs, stagnant fees, and a broken funding model.

APCCOA represents the clinic owners who have invested their personal savings to keep Alberta’s healthcare system afloat. We're the only provincial organization focused exclusively on protecting the infrastructure behind primary care.

We’re now raising $3M to keep doors open and ensure access to care for every Albertan. Together with partners like Cherry Health, we’re pushing for policy change, sustainable funding, and long-term solutions.
