Through years of observing both what family doctors say and what they actually do in clinical settings, Dawn has developed a unique ability to bridge the gap between policy and practical implementation, ensuring that physicians can optimize their billing processes without adding to their administrative burden.
As the founder of Osland Medical Billing Tools Inc., Dawn created the CMGP Calculator, a tool designed to help family doctors practicing under the Fee-for-Service model maximize their earnings with efficiency and accuracy. She also launched Track My Time, a solution tailored to physicians working under the Primary Care Physician Compensation Model (PCPCM) to track their indirect patient care time. In addition to building these tools, Dawn is a well-known educator in the Alberta medical community, organizing weekly billing webinars to help family doctors and clinic managers improve their financial sustainability.
